Neven Brady Leddy

Neven is a historian of eighteenth-century Europe and the Atlantic world, specializing in cultural and intellectual history. His doctoral dissertation examined the European Enlightenment through the thought and career of Adam Smith. His involvement with the Electronic Enlightenment Project began while pursing his doctorate at Oxford and has continued since. He currently teaches in the College of Humanities at Carleton University and in the History Department at the University of Ottawa. Neven’s current research focuses on the correspondence of a cohort of expatriate Genevans in Britain, France and the Early American Republic.
