Building our atlas
Digital maps
In collaboration with the Bodleian Map Room and The David Rumsey Collection we are building an EE atlas to provide mapping and geographical data to contextualize the letters and lives in EE.

software allows us to provide high resolution images without you having to download multi-megabyte files. The high resolution files are sliced into thousands of squares to build a Deep Zoom image pyramid. These are then displayed using Microsoft's Seadragon software.
